Overall Inspection of the S

Have bought the car for a while but haven't got the chance to have an inspection on all parts.

Last Wednesday (09/07/2016) I went to Billman250 for an overall inspection of the vehicle.

The S2000 suffers from:
1. When the car comes to a stop, clutch down or in neutral the car would be tending to stall. This actually happened three times when I was driving at around 7, 8 mph in the past month. Not quite often and no influence on daily driving but was kinda annoying.
2. Rough idling, especially cold start at around 2k rpm.
3. Clutch buzzing

Billman's inspection on the vehicle:
1. No cracked retainers on my AP1, which was good news and was also expected because the car had only 54k on it.
2. Under the valve cover and above the spark plugs was nothing but dirty oil.
3. Valve adjustment was no good.
4. No clutch fluid in clutch cylinder at all!
5. IAC Valve Unit was somehow stuck.
6. Coolant was way under required level.
7. Lack of window washer fluid.
8. Oil was below 'L' level.
9. All parts except for the K&N intake were stock (same VIN).
10. Brake pads were worn out 40%-50%.
11. TCT was good.

So, he did:
1. Re-adjusted the valves.
2. Re-adjusted the IAC Valve Unit.
3. Added some 1 qts Mobil 1 10W-30.
4. Added brake fluid for clutch cylinder.
5. Added coolant.
6. Cleaned the engine.

After these the driving was smooth! Real smooth! And the idling became much better. The clutch issue was relieved and almost gone (still a bit, because of the clutch disc). What's left for me to fix are:
1. Not enough engine oil (very dangerous).
2. Cruise control is not working.
3. Weird brake sound.

Last but no least, that Wed was a rainy day and when we were out for a spin, Billman showed me for the first time what drifting was! You just feel that the rear end of the car is thrown out and the turn seems to be so smooth! Awesome!

Good to inspect the S at the very beginning and let's begin the project!
